Because of their size and population density, Edmonton and Calgary are made up of several early childhood development communities, unlike other cities in Alberta whose boundaries comprise one community. Research information was gathered and reported for both Edmonton and Calgary.
Calgary
The City of Calgary received its Community Profile in May 2014. The report contains an overview of the ten early childhood development (ECD) communities, including Early Development Instrument (EDI) results and information about socio-economic status and community resources.
